ABOUT
Kat Sigalas is an award-winning London-based filmmaker, director and editor working across film, commercials and short-form content. She trained at MetFilm School and has worked with a variety of clients and collaborators across short films, branded content, fashion shoots, dance videos and promotional campaigns.
Her commercial work includes projects for Remax Star, Bstudios and The Space Theatre. She recently directed and edited “Persephone’s Slumber”, a fashion short film created in collaboration with costume designer Cristiana Dini and filmed at Garden Studios.
Kat’s directing work includes “God Forgive Me”, distributed by Alpha Film and associate produced by legendary Greek director Pantelis Voulgaris. The film has received multiple festival selections, including Poppy Jasper Film Festival, Capital City Film Festival, Slemani Film Festival and East London LGBTQ+ Film Festival.
She also directed and shot “Sorry I’m Late”, commissioned by ADHD Hellas to raise awareness about adult ADHD. The film has screened at festivals, schools and universities, with clips featured on Greek national TV, ERT News.
She received the “Most Creative Storytelling” award at Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival for “The Rabbit Hole”. “Sorry I’m Late” also received Best Cinematography at Andromeda Film Festival.
